A good argument to halt human development in expertise is that if we continue creating applied sciences and researching sciences to re-create living matter (cloning), people will not wish to die, and will clone themselves, and if they try this, combined with the brand new off-spring of other human beings, the world will change into massively overpopulated, than it is even now, and the world will be unable to accommodate the basic needs of everybody.
